Disaproving glares and salacious stares

I can't believe in a week it will have been three months since I graduated from Iowa State. I didn't think I would say this already, but I really miss Ames. Okay, I guess I don't necessarily miss Ames, but I do miss Iowa State. I really do like my job at USA Today... a lot! But, I miss the people a lot. I miss playing basketball with Anay and Aaron and playing guitar with Andrew but I think I miss hanging out with the roommates the most. I wouldn't say Jim, Nimit and I spent a lot of quality time together, but we definitely spent a lot of quantity time together. I miss watching Conan, the Daily Show, and Arrested Development with them. I miss Jim's Disaproving glares and Nimit's salacious stares. It's weird thinking that I'm all grown up. If I haven't qualified to be an adult, that what am I? I'm a 20 year old tweener. It's daunting to think that I might be working for the next 40-45 years with only two weeks off per year. Fortunately, I'm happy with Elyse, and I love my job. I just wish I could have the best of both worlds...
