Chuckabee 2008

Although Chuck Norris is not the first celebrity to support a candidate in this upcoming election, he by far has the coolest ad:

I might disagree with many of Mike Huckabee's political platforms but I respect that he is clearly targeting young voters and showing that sometimes showing you have a sense of humor never hurt anyone. It certainly didn't hurt Ronald Reagan or Bill Clinton.

1. I see in the richest contract in sports history was signed by Alex Rodriguez (Third basemen for the New York Yankees.) He just signed a 10 year 275 million dollar deal. I have to ask the Yankees front office? What are you thinking? Do you really think he would turn down 10 year 265 million? Also, unlike some of the other professional sports, baseball contracts are guaranteed money. If A-Rod tears his ACL next year and can no longer play, the Yanks still owe him all of his money. What a terrible terrible deal.

2. I can't believe Lloyd Carr is retiring from Michigan. I really feel that this is the third best coaching job in the country behind USC at number two and University of Texas at number one.

3. Minnesota is supposed to get its first snow this Wednesday. That makes me pissy.
